Privacy Policy

Effective October 6, 2026

Updated October 6, 2026: a new Email sign-up section says what we keep when you join our email list, why, how to unsubscribe and who sends the emails. Updated October 2, 2026: we now keep encrypted weekly backups of our database for 13 weeks; the Data retention and security section says what that means when you ask us to delete your data. Partner bank details are never in these backups. October 1, 2026: partners are now paid by bank transfer only, and the Creator partner program section says how we keep their bank details. Nothing changed for visitors who only browse.

Who we are

SEIDO Cookware is a brand of B & C ENTERPRISES LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, Company No. 13445334, with its registered office at Suite RA01, 195-197 Wood Street, London, E17 3NU, United Kingdom. This policy covers seidocookware.com, our website for the United States.

This is a content site. You can read about our cookware and compare products here, but you cannot buy anything here. There are no customer accounts and no checkout. All purchases happen on Amazon.com, under Amazon's own terms and Amazon's own privacy policy.

What we collect

When you browse this site, we collect a small amount of data through analytics tools:

We do not collect customer account data (there are no customer accounts), payment details (there is no checkout), or precise location. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors ourselves; where the Meta Pixel is active, Meta may recognize your browser as described in Meta's own privacy policy.

Analytics events via Google Analytics 4 — pages viewed, how you arrived at the site, and clicks on "See price on Amazon" buttons.
Device and browser data via Google Analytics 4 — browser type, device type, screen size, and general region derived from your IP address.
Interaction analytics via Microsoft Clarity — anonymized heatmaps and session replays showing how pages are scrolled and clicked, with typed content masked. Clarity is not loaded when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.
Meta (Facebook) Pixel, where active — advertising measurement events, such as page views and clicks through to Amazon.

How we use it

We use this data to:

Measure which pages and articles people actually read.
Understand which pages lead visitors to click through to Amazon.
Improve the site's content and structure.
Measure the performance of our advertising, via the Meta Pixel where active.

Creator partner program

If you apply to our creator partner program, we keep what you put in the application: your name, your email address, the channels you post on and anything else you choose to tell us. We use it to review the application and to reply to you.

Approved partners sign in to a partner portal on this site. For a partner account we hold the sign-in email, a record of when the partner signed in, the bank details the partner gives us so we can pay them, any view counts the partner enters for their posts, and the results of the partner's links: clicks on them, and the orders Amazon reports for them. Amazon reports those orders to us as totals for each link. It does not tell us who the shopper was.

We pay partners by bank transfer only. The bank details a partner enters (the name on the account, the bank, the routing and account numbers, the account type and the account holder's address) are stored encrypted and used only to send that partner's payouts and keep the payment records the law requires. Once they are saved, the portal shows only the bank, the account type and the last four digits of the account number. We email the partner whenever they are added, changed or removed, and each time we open them to make a payment, it is recorded. Partners receive our full privacy notice for bank details by email when they add them, and can download it from their account at any time.

For partner data, B & C ENTERPRISES LTD is the controller under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018). We use partner data to run the partnership and pay commission (performing our agreement with the partner), to keep payment records (a legal obligation) and to protect payouts from fraud (our legitimate interest). It is stored in the United States: Supabase's data processing terms include the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, and Vercel and Resend are certified to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension.

When anyone follows a partner's link, we log the click before passing the visitor on to Amazon: the time, the link, the country, the site the click came from, the type of device, and a salted hash of the IP address rather than the address itself. We set no cookie for this.

Partner applications, accounts and click records are stored with our database and sign-in provider, Supabase. Our emails are sent through Resend and reach our inbox through our email services. The partner portal uses sign-in cookies that are needed to keep a partner logged in. Analytics and session-replay tools are not loaded in the portal.

We keep partner records while the partnership runs. Bank details are deleted automatically 90 days after a partner's account ends, once nothing is owed, or sooner if the partner removes them. Records of payments made are kept for six years after the end of the financial year they belong to, as UK company and tax law requires. Our encrypted weekly backups hold partner records, but never bank details, for 13 weeks (see Data retention and security).

Partners can download their data, correct or remove their bank details and ask us to delete their account from the partner portal, or email customerservice@seidocookware.com; we reply within one month. Partners can also object at any time to the two fraud checks we run on our legitimate interest: the email we send when bank details change, and the record we keep each time they are opened. Anyone unhappy with how we handle their data can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Email sign-up

If you join our email list (for example for the founders' offer), we keep your email address, the products you told us you are interested in, the page or link you signed up from, the exact consent wording you agreed to and when, your browser type, and a salted hash of your IP address rather than the address itself. The browser type and the hashed IP address help us spot automated or abusive sign-ups.

We first email you a link to confirm your address. Until you click it, we send you nothing else. Once you confirm, we use your address to send launch and early-access emails, including the founders' offer code on launch day, and your sign-up is entered into the launch giveaway described in the official rules at seidocookware.com/giveaway-rules.

We rely on your consent to email you, and you can withdraw it at any time. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and one-click unsubscribe works in mail apps that support it. When you unsubscribe we stop emailing you at once and keep only your address and the date you unsubscribed, so that we never email you again. If you never confirm, we do not email you again. You can ask us to delete your address completely at any time by emailing customerservice@seidocookware.com.

Your sign-up is stored with our database provider, Supabase, and our emails are sent through Resend. We also send a copy of each new sign-up to our own customer service inbox so we can see which pages bring people to the list. We never sell your email address.

Global Privacy Control

This site recognizes the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. When your browser sends it, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. No form, no email, no waiting.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use analytics and advertising-measurement cookies. They come from Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and, where active, the Meta Pixel. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings, and the opt-outs described above apply to any sharing they enable. The site works fine without them.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have collected information from someone under 13, email us and we will delete it.

Data retention and security

We keep analytics data only as long as we need it to understand how the site performs, then it is deleted or reduced to aggregate numbers.

We protect the data we hold with access controls and encrypted connections (HTTPS). No website can promise perfect security, but collecting little means there is little to expose.

Once a week we make an encrypted backup of our database so that we can recover from an accident or an attack. Each backup is kept for 13 weeks and then deleted. When we delete your data at your request, it is removed from our live database at once, and the copies in our backups are gone within 13 weeks as the older backups are deleted. Partner bank details are never included in these backups.

International

We are a United Kingdom company serving a US audience. Data collected on this site is processed in the United States and the United Kingdom. Wherever it is processed, this policy applies.

Changes and contact

This policy is effective October 6, 2026.

If we change it, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be noted at the top of the page.
